What is EPF Online Nomination Form-2:
EPF Online Nomination Form -2 will be filled by the employee during his/her employment in any organization where Employee’s Provident Scheme Act 1952 is applicable and a particular employee is contributing to EPF. EPF is contributed by employee and employer ( 12% each). Out of this 8.33% is contributed in Pension Fund. The pension scheme can be availed by the eligible employee after his/her retirement at the age of 58.

EPF e-nomination Para 61 :
- Each employee filled up Nomination form 2 during his/her joining. Nomination form-conferring all Rights to receive any amount that may belong to EPF account holder in the event of his/her death before the amount credits to his/her account is payable.
- An employee may nominate more than one person as his/her nominee, and also specify the percentage(%) of amount share. An employee can mention his/her family members as a nominee. Except for family member, another nominee will be considered as an invalid nominee

Online Process of EPF e-Nomination:
You can follow the below-given process to complete EPF Online Nomination Form trough member unified portal of EPFO.
- Visit the official unified portal of EPFo, click here to visit.
- Log in using your UAN number and password.
- From the menu options under >Manage, select E-Nomination.
- Click on (+) add a nomination, your basic information will show like name, date of birth, UAN, Gender, Marital Status etc.
- Enter your current and permanent address & save.
- You will be asked to choose yes or no from given options. having Family ( Yes or No).
- Having Family: means you want to nominate a person from your family member.
- Having No Family member: means pf account holder wants to nominate his/her guardian.
- Enter Name, DOB, Relation with the member and Address ( in case of family members.)
- If the nominee is a guardian then, click guardian and complete fields and save family details.
- EPF details will be successfully saved and your nomination will show in pending nomination.
- Now you will have to verify using your Aadhar Card, OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number.
You can also download the digitally signed the PDF of verified nomination. By doing e-nomination employee’s family members or guardian can avail their benefits fast and well on time. The beneficiary will not need to verify or attested this file. The PDF will be in two parts. Part-A & Part-B of employee Provident fund & Employee’s Pension scheme.
