AP Labour Welfare Board: Andhra Pradesh Labour Welfare Fund is now receiving online applications of LWF schemes from the workers and employers. Earlier, AP Labour Welfare Board received the LWF Scheme application offline. Employee & employer completed their forms and then they used to send this to AP Labour Welfare Board and then AP Labour Welfare Board issued Cheques in the favour of the beneficiaries worker.

Marriage Gift Scheme:
AP Labour Welfare provides 20,000/- in the form of Fixed Deposit (FD) for a period of three years. This FD is created in the name of Worker/daughter. For worker’s daughter.
Merit Scholarship Scheme:
The scholarship is given on the merit basis to the children of the workers. Qualification wise scholarship details are: (1). Rs. 5,000/- for Polytechnic. (2). Rs. 10,000/- for Engineering, Medicine, Law, BSC (Agri) (Veterinary)/ (Nursing)/(Horti), B.Pharmacy, BCA, MCA, BBA, MBA, B.A.M.S., B.D.S., D.H.M.S., D.M.L.T & M.L.T.etc.
Scholarships to Physically Handicapped Children of Worker:
Financial assistance of. 10,000/- Rupees per year for any class or course studying students.
Scheme of Chronic Diseases:
Financial assistance up to 50,000/- Rupees for undergoing operation/treatment of chronic diseases like Heart-related, Kidney related, Cancer-related, Brain tumour, ParaJysis, Liver, Hysterectomy, Trauma Treatment (serious wounds/ Injuries) and AIDS etc disease are covered in this scheme.
Financial Assistance for Accidental Death of Employee:
Financial assistance of Rs. Five Lakhs in case of accidental death of the worker. ( Rs. 3 Lakhs under A.P.Labour Welfare Board accidental death scheme, Rs. 2 Lakhs under (PMSBY) Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bhima Yojana. This amount will be given to the nominee i.e. spouse/family member.
In case of Natural death Scheme:
Financial assistance of 20,000/- Rupees will be given to the dependent of deceased worker or for his/her nominee.
Funeral Expenses Amount:
10,000/- Rupees shall be paid towards Funeral expenses in case of death of the worker. This amount will be given to the nominee or dependant of the worker.
Scheme for Loss of limbs in accidents:
Financial assistance up to Rs. 2.5 lakhs for disability due to the accident. 1).Disability 25% to 40% Rs. 1,25, 000/- 2). Disability 41% to 49% Rs. 1,75,000/- 3). Disability 50% & above Rs. 2,50,000/-
Maternity Benefit:
Rupees. 20,000/- for delivery of woman worker will be given as a good gesture and a financial assistance.
Family Planning:
Incentive: Rs. 5,000/- for undergoing family planning operation by the worker or spouse of the worker
Sports, Games & Cultural Competitions:
Every year Sports, Games & Cultural Competitions are being conducted at Zonal and State Level among the workers of various Factories & Establishments and the winners are being awarded Prizes.
