EPFO Complaint Portal | EPFO Grievance Portal (ePFIGMS): If you are facing any issue related to your UAN number, your Employer related, Pension Related or any other UAN or EPF account-related grievance here you can follow these steps to raise the complaint on EPFO complaint portal.

EPFiGMS is an official portal of EPFO with an aim to redress grievances for the services provided by EPFO. Grievances can be sent to Head office at New Delhi or to the field offices now more than 130 across the country. Grievances can be lodged at any of these offices and will land in the concerned office to which the grievances pertain.

 

Aim of EPFO Complaint Portal?

  • The grievance can be lodged by PF member, EPS Pensioner, Employer and Others
  • OTP verification
  • Online lodging of grievance/complaint based on UAN
  • UAN integrated with a master database of EPFO resulting in the identification of EPF office for the redress of grievance
  • The grievance can be lodged for multiple PF numbers available in UAN
  • PPO number validation/integration (for EPS pensioners) with a centralised database of EPFO
  • Facility to send a reminder for pending grievance
  • View the current status of the grievance
  • Facility to provide feedback on redress of grievance
  • Comprehensive categorization for identifying the grievance prone areas

Once a grievance is registered, the system generates a unique registration number and auto-generates acknowledgement through SMS & email. There is the ease of registration of grievance and faster redressal after revamp. The interface is now bilingual.

How to Register Grievance for PF Member?

IF you are a UAN account holder and a PF member than you can follow below steps to raise a complaint on EPFO Complaint Portal.

Step 1: Visit the official grievance portal site (http://epfigms.gov.in/). And Select “Register Grievance” option from the menu options.

 

Step 2: Select PF Member, and then enter your UAN number and the security details. after that click on the get details tab. Your basic details like name, email id, mobile number and UAN number will be shown. If details matched with yours, click on get OTP.

Step 3: OTP will be sent on your Registered email id and on mobile number (OTP is of 5 numeric digits)

Step 4: Enter your personal details like gender, address, state, country, security code etc.

Step 5: And select PF Number to lodge a grievance against which employer or which PF number you wanted to register your grievance on the epfo complaint portal. As shown below.

Step 6: A new pop-up window will be shown on your mobile or computer screen. You need to select any one of the given four options against which you wanted to submit your complaint.

These options are:

1. Grievance related to PF Office

2. Grievance related to Employer

3. Grievance related to EDLI

4. Grievance related to Pre-pension

Step 7: Select the category of which your grievance belongs to.

 Step 8: Enter your EPFO grievance description in the EPFO complaint portal so that epfo official scan understand your query or complaint. As shown below.

Step 9: Upload any supporting documents if you have any like company’s letterhead or any rejected form, your KYC documents of any other.

Step 10: Click on Submit and your complaint has successfully registered. You will receive the registration number message on your registered mobile number and on email id too.

How to check Grievance Status of PF Member Complaint?

Once you have successfully submitted your EPFO related Grievance on EPFO complaint Portal. You can also check the grievance status a few days after on the same portal. ( As of now there is no fixed limit has been mentioned to resolve your complaint, it may take up to few weeks).

Step 1: Visit the official grievance portal site (http://epfigms.gov.in/status). 

Step 2: Enter your Registration number and your mobile number along with the security code and click submit.

Step 3: Once you click submit, a new window will be opened and your PF member details and the submission date of the grievance and the status of the grievance will be shown on the mobile on the computer screen. If your complain status is under process, I recommend you to try after few days.

How to Re-upload Grievance document?

If you have forgotten your documents to upload while submitting your documents or EPFO officials asked you to reupload, so you can re-upload your documents on this portal.

  3. I have a previous account with PF team, now by joining a new org, I did ask for transfer, however the transfer does not go through. New account is a trust.

  4. In the EPFO Portal, My previous organziation Date of Joining is mentioned with wrong date. I reached out to my previous orgnaziation and I have the Joint declaration form ready. Is it enough to raise the request through Grievance portal and attach the documents ? should I also sends these documents to the PF office through post/courier? I am in Bangalore and My previous org PF office is Mumbai. Will this be sorted out if I visit the nearest PF office ?

  5. hi kanchan this side im getting lots of probelm in pf im not able to get my pf from last 6 months nobody help me in pf office or in my last working organization my last organization.is rise otb sonal craft manager name naina and tl name vasu they are not responding my msgs or calls i need digital signature from that company.so kindly help me bcz i really dont know what should i do now with whom i will ask my contact number #####

  6. It is been 2 months since I have retired but till date he does not have recived his PF in his account. even after multiple followups with PF office there is no proper response.

  7. PF Government very slow in processing request because it is taking more than 20 working days to reject pf withdraw request, just for verifying with only one document.
    I have raised PF withdraw request for emergency because of illness but it has been rejected twice and took nearly one month.
    Do you know how people will get trouble if they have to pay the amount within that time for emergency or illness? at least rejection should be faster so that people will raise the request again with proper details or the correct instruction should be mentioned in the portal.
